Fantastic place. Great food, great price, fast service.

I stopped in here with some of my workers on a Tuesday for the taco specials after a hard day's work nearby. They had three large tacos for $5 on special which were exceptional! Quite a bargain for 5 bucks! We split a large pitcher of top shelf margarita (my guys work hard and deserve it). It was plenty for the 3 of us. Service was friendly, although the cleanliness of the restroom and high volume of flies and fruitflies was a little unsettling. I'd stop in again if I was in the area for the Tuesday taco specials but I wouldn't bring a date here. Get rid of the bugs and I'll give it another star.

Everything is good here and they use broccoli, red bell peppers, and onions a lot in their chimichangas and fajitas.

We have a great time, enjoy the food & cocktail specials. Actually we meet @the Chardon El Patron.

Both locations are phenomenal. There can be a wait at times but it is well worth it. I drive a half hour for their food because nothing around where I live is even close to them.

Excellent place. Friendly attentive staff. Very clean, nicely decorated. Great food and value.

Update: So I tried this place again. So much better! I've been back multiple times before posting. Consistently good food and they brought back the awesome slaw.2 stars only because the waiter was really nice. Salsa is like tomato sauce....no actual tomato pieces, very little onion or cilantro. Reminded me of v8. They used to have awesome coleslaw which is now watery shredded cabbage. That stopped me from ordering an actual entree right there. Appetizer had chorizo that my kid said looked and tasted canned. We used to really like this place but I agree quality has gone way down. Maybe they overspent on the new patio?

The people were friendly and very responsive to all our requests. The food was served hot and was very good. The only thing I didn't like was the refried beans seemed like they were pureed into a soup like consistency. They tasted fine, though.

Solidly middle of the road Tex-Mex. Would be a star higher if they'd had al pastor on the menu as an entree. Good salsa, wife said margarita was great, but the salad on the enchiladas was a bit excessive.
